Savonnerie

One of the things a love about Twitter is coming across new brands, this is where I came across the natural brand Savonneire. I noticed a few of my friends using there products and felt rather intrigued myself. I had used the famous Liz Earle cleanse and polish previously and liked it but unfortunately it did not like me. I experienced break outs, which left me with extremely sore skin and had to stop using it, what a shame as I really enjoyed the whole cleansing process using a Muslim cloth, I began to hunt down an alternative product, I noticed Savonnerie had the perfect product for me to try. And wow the scent is amazing, you really need to try it for yourself. Of course I had to try their lip balm offering! You know me by now. I like the simplicity of the brands packaging its so natural and rustic looking, I just love each design, also the soft pastel colours used on the labels look so pretty on my vanity, its certainly to my taste.

Daily Facial Cleanser £13.95 150ml*

The product is dispensed through a pump, so there is no chance of wasting the contents, I find 2 pumps is the perfect amount to cover my face and down to my decollete. This is a similar consistency to Liz Earle, a beautiful nourishing cream with Aloe, Chamomile and Camalia Seeds. I like to take my time to massage into my skin, I really like the scent, oh its heavenly, my make up is removed with ease. Then I take a clean Muslim cloth to gently remove the cream, I use small circular movements. My skin feels so soft afterwards. The best part of this experience has been no breakouts, my skin in healing now. I find this product to be soothing and leaves my skin feeling supple and nourished.

Nutritive Lip Balm £4.95*
This balm is 100% natural and works wonders on my dry lips, I also rub a little onto my dry cuticles, it works a treat. it glides onto my lips with ease. Its not super thick, so perfect for daytime. The scent reminds me of liquorice, although the ingredients are Peppermint, Tamanu Oils, Vanilla and Camelia. The boys in my house always want to borrow this one, its different from my usual choice of Rose scents! I like the cute little tin, its perfect for your bed side table. I would love to have a Rose scented balm in this form though, I love the product.

I have really enjoyed trying these products, I like to give skin care a good run before I commence with the laptop tapping! I would highly recommend you take a look at Savonnerie, they have some lovely products I have a long list of other bits I would like to try. They have some beautiful gift sets, that would make a perfect Christmas gift.

Savonnerie prides itself on only using ingredients that are free from Sulphates, Parabens, Artificial colours, Artificial fragrances, Animal ingredients and Petrochemicals. I know this will be of interest to a lot of my friends. Over the past year or so I have become more aware of what I am using on myself and my family.
