Tom Ford #Blush Nude

I skipped all the way out of Selfridges with this wonderful Tom Ford bag. My hubby treated me to a new, beautiful, perfect, lovely ohhh I could go on and on, a Tom Ford lipstick.

I must admit this shade had never really caught my eye, I have spent many Saturday afternoons looking at the beautiful Tom Ford counter. Recently I noted Charlotte Tilbury declaring her love for this shade, I believe she even used it on Cara Delevingne in a recent photo shot. I liked the look of it and added it to my ever growing beauty list of goodies to check out.

How chic is the case? I love the feel of how heavy it is, and that click, oh how wonderful the thought is. The iconic TF, I must say my collection of Tom Ford lipsticks due look so pretty lined up in my lipstick draw.

I love attention to detail, just look at the embossing to the bullet. I hate to use it, or swatch it! I love you guys so how could I not show you just how perfect this little beauty is. I am super happy to have this edition in my collection.

 

 

Now I would describe this as the perfect nude, this has enough warm tones to stop the worrying concealer lip look! In fact I would say this offering from Tom Ford is extremely similar to my Pink Dusk, just a little more neutral in its tone. I have to say the picture is not true to life, it looks a lot darker than it does in real life. I will publish a face of the day soon, whilst rocking this beauty to give you a better look.

Now comes the part I was squealing about!!!! I began chatting to the marvellous Stefan and he offered me some samples of the fragrances. Now I am thinking the teeny tiny vials you normally get. Oh no I was wrong!! He took me over to the display of 300ml bottles and asked me to pick my favourite one. I totally did not think about what I was doing, got caught up in the moment and pointed at the first one Neroli Portofino, Stefan began to decanter a 4ml bottle for me, he than said he liked White suede, so made me one of those up and finally he popped one together for my hubby, I have  no idea what it is? There is no sticker, but it smells heavenly!!! I will totally purchase this for him one day.

 

 

What a fabulous shopping experience this turned out to be. I found another staple lip colour for my make up collection and was able to sample a couple of excellent perfumes. I have carried out a little research and have since found out that a 50ml bottle is sold for £135.00!!! Wow, a 4ml sample really works out to a lot, and I was given 3 of those, soooo happy. I only wished I had taken my time and selected the Rose scented one. Oh well maybe next time.
