Peachy pink

Peachy pink is a phrase used a lot on daily blog posts, this is something that always catches my attention.

Elizabeth Arden is a brand I usually associate with the famous 8 hour cream, it's not a brand I would go to look at make up. If I am honest.

I am subscribed to Allure magazine, I have the I pad version. I thoroughly enjoy each monthly download, and carefully read each article. The recent edition of Allure is where I stumbled across this little beauty. I had to swatch 'Nectar' cream blusher, in the past I have found cream blushers to be greasy, and leave my skin looking, well oily. The Elizabeth Arden offering is different, it leaves the perfect peachy pink cover. Just perfect for my cheeks and totally wakes my face up on these cold mornings. I apply with my fingers and then use the Real Technique Stippling Brush to buff in a little more. It leaves the perfect colour, the finish is not greasy but more like a statin finish. I am happy with the lasting power, at the end of my long working days you can still see this beautiful product resting on my cheeks.

I am so happy to have discovered this cream blusher, and now I want more, I noticed a dusky, muted pink number I may have to add to my ever growing make up collection.

Elizabeth Ardens cream blusher in Nectar can be brought from Debenhams for £25.
