Real Techniques Limited Edition

I am thrilled with my latest purchase. I had seen a few blog posts with the new Limited Edition Real Techniques brushes, and heard they were being released on the 20th may. I was ready and waiting with my cash! I am so happy I got a set, as I am sure these will fly off the shelves in no time at all. I own the previous collections, in fact I have 2 sets of the eye set and 3 of the core collection. I also own the additional single brushes and have never been disappointed.

This packing is different to the previous sets, you don't get the brush holder. But to be honest I never used them anyway, so this is no loss to me. I love the look and feel of brushes, you get 3 in the set. One for your face, one for contouring and one for your eyes to blend.

First up the face duo fibre brush, I am pleased to add this to my collection. I only own one other duo fibre brush, so this set will fill the missing bits I have.

I tried this brush for the first time today, it feels soft on my face. I used this to lightly dust over my By Terry Hylauronic Powder. It worked a treat.

Next up is the Contour/Sculpt brush. What I really like about this brush is the size, I have nothing like this in my collection. I find my previous brushes are either to big or far too small for what I want. I used this for my Blusher today, I added a little of my new Estee Lauder #Witty Peach to the tops of my cheeks. I felt I had more control over where I placed the colour.

And lastly an Eye Blending Brush, I have been eyeing up similar brushes to this from a well known make up brand but every time I go to purchase the price put me off. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did not get it. I am so happy with this one, I dusted a shimmery colour over my lids with another brush then I took a little matt eyeshadow with this little gem and blended into my crease. It gave the definition I have been trying to achieve for a long time. It worked so well, it took no effort at all.

Here is another look at the 3 brushes together again, I like how Sam designs her brushes and uses different colours for each collections. They look so pretty on my dressing table, they are the type of brushes you want to display and not pack away.

Another fabulous collection from the lovely Samantha Chapman, I may have to pick another set up before they are all gone. I cannot wait to see what else Real technique have up their shelves for us?? I am sure there will be more beautiful products coming out very soon.
