Wild Rosé Lip Balm

I never, and I mean never win anything. I enter lots of competitions on twitter and never win. I noticed @jenny_redhead (redheadbeautydiaries.co.uk) was running a competition and entered. This competition was different to most comps, Jenny had written a beautiful blog post regarding concerns about our Bumble Bee's declining. I found her writing so inspiring, this was a subject I had not given a lot of thought to if I am honest. I just was not aware of the issues. Since Jenny brought this matter to my attention I have become more aware of what I am doing in my garden, what will help Bee's thrive etc. I hope you read Jenny's blog post Beauty and the Bee, there is a lot more to this, then meets the eye.

Jenny ran a competition linked to the Bees blog post, I believe there was 5 prises in total, Jenny asked what we would do to help the bee's. I left a comment to say I would be planting Lavender bush's in my garden, I also wanted to look into Bee homes for my garden. I could not believe it when I received a tweet notifying me of winning 5th place!!! It made my day, I had won a beautiful Lip Balm by the brand Apples & Pears, may I add a Rose scented Lip Balm and you all know how much I love Rose scents.

I absolutely love the detail to the rose gold lid, what a cute little bee. I much prefer my Lip products to be in pots, there is something about a little pot.The ingredients include Jojoba oil, Castor oil, Yellow beeswax, Shea butter, Sesame oil, Rosehipseed oil, Carrot infused oil, Alkannet infused oil, Coco butter, Honey and blends of essential oils. The Lip Balm is certified Organic.

The balm it's self is slightly tinted, it's not too thick and provides a rose bud effect to my lips. I can wear this product out and about. My Nuxe Lip Balm is very thick and leaves a white film on my lips, so I only use it at night times. I have been enjoying this product so much, its all I have been reaching for most days. It leaves my lips feeling so soft and smooth.

Apple & Pears says's 'A nourishing blend of sweet yellow beeswax, cold pressed organic rosehip seed oil, and oil of rosa damascena. Infused with the healing plant alkannet to give a subtle pink tint, this balm is rich and moisturising and gives lips a warm glow'.

I need to ask Jenny where I can purchase another pot of this loveliness, I want to have a back up or 2 of this perfect Lip Balm. I want to thank Jenny for holding such a thoughtful competition, that was  not about getting more subscribers, but was about an important cause that will effect us all in one way or another. Thank you so much Jenny, and for introducing me to a wonderful product.
